Commercial block work, elevator shafts and foundations
Reinforced concrete block for general contractors and builders: elevator and stair shafts, fire-rated separations, foundation walls and structural block on commercial and multi-residential projects across the GTA.

A large share of our work is concrete block on commercial and multi-residential sites, as a subcontractor to general contractors. It's the work we're set up for: crews that read structural drawings, lay to engineered tolerances, and keep pace with a schedule that formwork, steel and framing trades depend on.
What we build
- Elevator shafts: reinforced and grouted block shaft walls built plumb to elevator-supplier tolerances, with embed and rail-anchor coordination and bond beams where specified
- Stair shafts and fire-rated separations: rated block assemblies, fire-stopping at penetrations, control joints to the drawings
- Foundation walls and footings: block foundations for low-rise commercial, additions and multi-unit buildings, parged and ready for waterproofing
- Structural and load-bearing block: reinforced, grouted and bond-beamed walls, lintels and pilasters
- Mechanical rooms, garbage rooms and enclosures
- Retaining walls and site walls in block
How we work on your site
Red Seal masons on every crew. We work from your structural drawings, coordinate with the engineer and inspector, supply our own scaffold and lifts, and provide the documentation you need for progress billing. Send drawings and a schedule and we'll price the package.
Also for builders
Brick veneer, stone and chimney packages on the same project are covered under new construction masonry. Concrete, sealants and waterproofing on existing commercial properties are handled by our sister company, Queensway Property Services.
